For fans looking to get a close-up photo of a Formula 1 car, this is a great grandstand option. It’s also an opportunity to get very close to the circuit, with the first row of seats pretty much at track level. Fans in this grandstand will be able to see if a driver can defend their position, or succumb to an overtake at a key point of the track. It is at the end of a long straight and one of the fastest sections of the track, which features a DRS zone. The Stamford Grandstand is located just around the corner from turn 7, which is a key overtaking zone. The Turn 3 Grandstand faces the third turn, where you will see the cars bound down towards a fast straight section. ![]() Following the heavy braking in turn 3, the cars jostle for position through the slow corners of turns 2 and 3, which complete this key overtaking zone.
